Big news!

The inaugural Jean S. Argetsinger Symposium on International Motor Racing History is this Saturday Oct. 17th and we’re giving the keynote! Joe Freeman, our head car collector and RMP owner, will give the keynote presentation on “Road Racing in America 1904-1940.”

To make the event happen, the International Motor Racing Research Center is partnering with the Society of Automotive Historians to give graduate students professors and historians (that’s us!) the opportunity to present on any chosen topic about the history of road racing.

The event is open to the public and no pre-registration is required. It will take place at The International Racing Research Center in Watkins Glen. The IMRSS and the SAH both plan to make the symposium an annual event in order to continue honoring and supporting race historians and promoting further research around racing and vintage cars into the modern day.
